I am Dr. Ranabir Chakraborty, a Soil Scientist at ICAR-IIWM, Bhubaneswar. My work focuses on greenhouse gas emissions, remote sensing, water management, SWAT modelling, nutrient dynamics, and sustainable agriculture.
I combine field experimentation, data analysis, and modelling approaches to address key challenges in agricultural sustainability.
Research Focus
- Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions and mitigation
- Soil carbon and nutrient dynamics
- Remote sensing and geospatial analysis
- Water resource management
- SWAT modelling
- Sustainable agricultural systems
🛠️ Featured Tool
AgriStat – Agricultural Statistical Tool
AgriStat is a web-based statistical tool designed for agricultural researchers and students. It enables:
- ANOVA (CRD, RBD)
- Multiple response analysis
- Post-hoc tests (LSD, Tukey, Duncan)
- Excel-based data input
without requiring any coding knowledge.
Vision
My goal is to develop accessible scientific tools and data-driven solutions that support researchers, students, and practitioners in sustainable agriculture.
This platform will continue to expand with tools related to soil analysis, carbon estimation, and environmental modelling.
